Hello! I am Riyana Parekh, Founder of Understanding Money!
Understanding Money originally started as a platform focusing on more entrepreneurial endeavors, but slowly placed more focus on teaching/sharing lessons on financial literacy for teenagers -- Like me! I grew up in NY, Long Island and recently moved to Durham NC for my senior year. Wanting to pursue a education in economics, creating Understanding Money helped me reach a larger crowd who could have the same goals as me!
